Good Morning! ☀️


Or, at least, that’s the best time to make this tasty drink. I have it about 3 or 4 mornings a week before chowing down on breakfast just to get my body’s gears going 🔥. The taste of ACV might take a couple times to get used to if you've never had it before, but with the help of a little sweetener I now love the taste of this drink.


This drink will wake up your whole body, give you energy, start up & boost your metabolism, help to detoxify, aid in good digestion, and all this can result in burning a little fat. 👊 So let's show our bodies a little love and help them out with all that inside work they do everyday :)



Here’s what you’ll need:


And literally ALL you need to do is add everything to a regular sized glass of water and stir it up really well.


If you’re missing an ingredient, it’s not a big deal. But each ingredient has it’s own powers that they add to this elixir. I also highly recommend adding a bit of some sort of natural sweetener to contrast the harsh flavour of the Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) - whether it’s raw honey (used in this recipe), maple syrup, or stevia. But the more you get used to the flavour the more ACV you can add and the less sweetener! I've tried drinking just ACV and water and trust me, it wasn't a great decision 😛



THE RECIPE:


LEMON


Squeeze the juice from 1 wedge of lemon or add more/less to fit your preference. Lemon will help boost your metabolism and kickstart your digestive system!

CAYENNE


Add a dash of cayenne which also helps to increase your metabolism and improve digestion. It also increases blood circulation & reduces bloating. Cayenne is a big player in detoxifying your body!

APPLE CIDER VINEGAR


Now for the ACV! If you’re new to ACV try adding just 1 TBSP or less and work your way up to more. By now, most of us have heard about ACV’s *magical* powers in helping us shed pounds. Here’s the science behind it!


Overall, ACV really helps to detoxify the body. It aids in balancing out your pH levels (acidity and alkalinity) and blood sugar levels which in turn can suppress your appetite and reduce bloating and water weight.


It also aids in digestion by cleansing the digestive system and packs lots of probiotic power 💪 All in all, these effects are really good for you body and will help boost your energy levels!



RAW HONEY


Add 1 TSP of the honey. Raw honey is super nutritious and filled with enzymes & vitamins 🍯 If you’re vegan you can substitute with maple syrup or stevia extract.


GINGER


Add about 1 TSP of grated ginger. Ginger is a digestive aid and immune booster. It works wooonders if you’re feeling nauseous!


oh yeeeahh, let’s add some water to that magic 😁




Make sure that you stir it well so the honey dissolves and all the cayenne doesn’t just sit on the top of the water and burn your mouth!



I’ve also tried adding cinnamon and ice which is super tasty 😄 You can also try mixing it with fresh fruit juice instead of water!



Tadaaa, now your body is a working MACHINE 💪!!
